PSI Recruitment Scam: CID officials arrested Rachana, who was ranked first in the state
The 17th accused Rachana has been arrested by the CID Special Investigation Team in Solapur, Maharashtra in connection with the illegal recruitment test held for 545 PSI posts.
Rachana Hanumanta was ranked first for the state in the women category of recruitment. Rachana had been missing for three months when the illegal case came to light.
For the past three and a half months, Rachana, who has been roaming around avoiding the eyes of the police, has not settled in one place and has changed his residence in many places. Bangalore and Kalaburagi CID officials were continuously searching for her.
The name of the structure was heard in the recruitment exam illegal case. In the CID investigation, it was revealed that Rachana had given 30 lakhs. In this regard, CID DySP Narasimhamurthy filed a complaint against 22 candidates at High Grounds station. A case was registered based on the complaint.
She was also involved in protests against the re-examination order of the former government. Rachana went missing when the FIR was registered. Now the officers who have conducted the operation have finally succeeded in arresting the author.
